The original values are saved in the change history, as is information about who changed which values and when. This ensures full transparency and you can contact the right person directly if you have any questions.

In all cases, SEQUELLO can meaningfully enrich the information and transfer it directly to a target system. This means that the invoice information can be processed automatically where it is needed.

Each platform participant receives a dedicated tenant on the SEQUELLO cloud environment. Their data is stored there, such as orders, delivery bills or invoices. This architecture ensures that only the respective participant can access the data in their tenant. This clear separation prevents misuse by third parties, as every access to SEQUELLO always takes place in the context of a tenant, without exception.

The concept is comparable to a rented house. You can only enter and use the contents if you have the key to the house or a corresponding apartment.

SEQUELLO supports single sign-on and thus enables administrators to manage access authorization centrally. This increases user-friendliness, as users can also use SEQUELLO with their existing login data (usually company e-mail address and password).

This enables more efficient management on the platform, as separate construction sites do not have to be created for each small project. The Invoice Control Panel (ICP) is the SEQUELLO add-on for invoice verification and approval. The invoices are provided centrally in the Field App. They can be compared directly with the orders and delivery bills using the ICP. This comparison along the entire document chain simplifies invoice verification and only requires a few clicks. In addition, clear evaluations and visually highlighted deviations make the process considerably easier. The ICP also offers a wide range of evaluation options to obtain valuable information quickly and easily. With our ICP, efficiency is a top priority – without the need for a comprehensive ERP system.

In the order overview of the SEQUELLO Field App, the progress of the deliveries is displayed using a diagram. The circular status display fills up steadily with each partial delivery until it is completely filled with the processing of the last delivery and is marked as completed.

To track the status of individual deliveries, SEQUELLO transmits the time stamps of the supplier’s MRP system to the Field App. Depending on the material ordered and the system used, the following updates are displayed.

  • Production started
  • Loading started
  • Arrival construction site
  • Unloading started
  • Waiting times on the construction site
  • Unloading finished
  • Departure construction site

This information helps the foreman to plan activities on the construction site and enables the efficient deployment of the crew and equipment. It also relieves employees in the dispatch departments as it reduces queries from the construction site.

SEQUELLO stores the specific quantities and types of materials used. To calculate the CO₂ footprint, construction companies can choose from three options as to which footprint values to use.

  1. If the supplier transmits a CO₂ value with the delivery data, the construction company can use it for the documentation.
  2. Alternatively, customers have the option of independently maintaining load values in their material master data.
  3. Our database also contains the EPD values in accordance with ISO 14025 and EN 15804. If one of the two other options is selected as the basis for the calculation, these values act as a fallback so that complete, automated reporting is possible.
On-Site Quality Check

On-Site Quality check

SEQUELLO takes over the manual completion of around 80% of the information for you in the digital on-site concrete quality check, so that you can concentrate on the essentials. Constant filing and searching for quality checks is also a thing of the past with a central database. The automatic transfer of delivery note information minimizes sources of error and since the necessary calculations are also carried out automatically, you can leave your calculator at home. All you need for a more efficient, error-free concrete quality check is a cell phone and SEQUELLO.

At the start of a new project, there is often a project-specific agreement between the construction company and the supplier. It defines which materials are to be supplied and at what price. Alternatively, a project-independent framework agreement of the company or group of companies can be used. This simplifies ordering processes and enables automatic invoice verification.

SEQUELLO automatically determines the relevant framework agreement for the respective ordering process and automatically assigns delivery bills and invoices. The use of a framework agreement is therefore the basis for many other digital business processes.

The component directory or concrete assortment index  is not only an elementary component of the quality management processes for concrete, but is also an optimal means of optimizing the materials for a construction project. The properties that are to be used for certain components in the course of a construction project are precisely defined in a component directory. This has a number of advantages:

  • Construction/project managers can be confident that exactly the right material will be called up for each component.
  • Concrete technologists can specify optimized formulations for the various components and can be certain that these will be used accordingly.
  • Foremen are relieved of the burden of selecting materials and can concentrate on the tasks on site.

Materials Mapping

Every company uses different material designations and numbers. This is a major obstacle to digital data exchange. SEQUELLO overcomes this by creating a central material master on the platform between those of the individual companies.

This enables construction companies and suppliers to exchange data while retaining their own material designations. The individual material numbers are assigned to the corresponding entries in the central (generic) material master of SEQUELLO through the one-off process of “material mapping”. This contains a separate entry for all possible material properties, so that a uniform translation between different material numbers and designations is guaranteed.

Suppliers can also assign several materials to a central SEQUELLO article, a so-called “1:n mapping”, whereby one material is defined as the “standard material”. This ensures correct transmission of order data. Even with different material numbers in different plants of a supplier, complex article structures can be mapped in SEQUELLO using plant-specific material masters.

The comment function is available for better communication within the team and across companies. You can easily share your comments on orders, delivery bills and invoices. This documents who entered what information and when. If you have any queries, you can easily contact the right person. And unlike handwritten notes on receipts, the digital version is always easy to read.

Goods receipt can be recorded on the basis of individual delivery bills or in a batch. The status of the delivery note object forms the basis for subsequent, automatic invoice verification.

You can download the delivery note as a PDF. But we still say: Say goodbye to paperwork! Because SEQUELLO summarizes all delivery notes of an order and you can easily switch back and forth between the order and the delivery notes to check the data. When you’re done, you can release delivery notes either individually or several at once in bulk.

When editing several delivery notes at once, you can change information (e.g. component or construction stage) or make comments to the supplier or for internal purposes.

With the mentioned download function, you can download delivery bills either individually or collectively as an Excel or PDF file.

As soon as the supplier transfers the order to his MRP system and confirms it, the order status is updated in SEQUELLO.

The MRP controller can confirm the order in full or with deviations. In the latter case, the changes to the material, quantity, date or time are marked with a note in the SEQUELLO Field App. If the supplier cannot fulfill an order, he initially rejects it or cancels the existing order retrospectively. In this scenario, the changes are also noted in the order overview.

Ordering persons can also transmit order changes or cancellations directly to the supplier in the Field App. The time window until which digital order adjustments are accepted can be set in the settings.

Adjustments can also be clarified by telephone at any time. Thanks to SEQUELLO’s bidirectional connection to the scheduling system, even the telephone call finds its way into the SEQUELLO Field App.

Particularly practical: every change generates a log file in which it is recorded which value has been replaced by a new one. This means that every change can be tracked in detail.

All orders for the construction site are displayed across all materials. Foremen can therefore see the current status and order details and can use this information to plan the deployment of their team and equipment on the construction site. In addition, order changes can be initiated and referenced delivery bills can be opened. The daily or weekly overview can also be printed out and displayed so that the information is also accessible to colleagues without access to SEQUELLO.

Digitalization in all its glory. The personal conversation is still very important and more than justified in the construction process. Thanks to SEQUELLO’s bidirectional connection to many scheduling systems, telephone orders also find their way into the field app and therefore also into the digital documentation.

This is because as soon as the scheduler enters or changes an order in their scheduling tool, this information is synchronized with the field app and thus accessible to the customer.

The digital order is the starting point for the subsequent handling processes. The order data is transmitted to the supplier via the browser-based Field App. The order is displayed in the usual MRP system in the MRP department.

In addition to the usual information such as delivery date, quantity and material, further details are recorded as standard.

  • Unloading point

This information makes it easier for suppliers to deliver the material and construction companies can record the exact material consumption for individual components and sections and use it for evaluations such as the CO₂ report.

With the “Duplicate order” function, users simply copy an existing order if they only want to change a few parameters, e.g. the delivery date and the component, and the rest of the information is identical. This saves time and is a great relief.

If necessary and if an order is placed by telephone, the order data is returned to the Field App with the supplier order. The details (component, section, etc.) can be entered there by the construction company.

The selected supplier for each material category can be maintained in SEQUELLO in advance of a project. Both project agreements and framework agreements are possible. The foreman simply selects from the predefined suppliers during the ordering process without having to worry about the source of supply and the necessary agreements.
